The world's top 10 solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturers shipped a record 500 gigawatts (GW) of modules in 2024, nearly doubling the previous year's volume, according to Wood Mackenzie's new Global Solar Module Manufacturer Rankings 2025 report.
The solar module shipment rankings for the first half of 2024 have been announced by Taiwan-based PV InfoLink. The rankings are as follows: The top 10 PV module manufacturers shipped a total of 226 GW, with the leading four companies contributing to 63% of this volume, highlighting a growing oligopoly in the solar panel industry.
