Independent wind-photovoltaic-hydrogen-battery system consists of power generation unit, energy storage unit, electricity load and other necessary components of power system. The power generation unit includes a fan and a photovoltaic battery board, and the energy storage unit includes a storage battery and a hydrogen energy storage device.
Basically generating electricity by rotating generators with the help of wind is known as wind energy electricity generation or simply wind power generation or wind electricity generation. Wind energy is now the world's fastest-growing electricity resource, utilizing Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT) or Horizontal Axis Wind Turbines (HAWT).
Conclusions In this paper, a grid-independent hybrid PV/wind system optimization model, which utilizes the iterative optimization technique to follow the Deficiency of Power Supply Probability (DPSP) model and the Levelised Unit Electricity Cost (LUEC) model for power reliability and system cost respectively, is presented.
As can be seen from the chart, wind power generation is first used to meet the power load demand, and the rest depends on battery and fuel cell supply. When the supply of wind power exceeds demand, the battery and electrolytic cell work to reduce the abandonment of wind and light.
For independent wind-photovoltaic-hydrogen-battery system, the capacity optimization configuration model is constructed after considering the total annual planning cost of the system and the self-supporting loss rate of system power supply, and the improved multi-objective SSA is used to solve the model.
Different optimization techniques for hybrid PV/wind systems sizing have been reported in the literature such as dynamic programming, graphical construction technique, probabilistic approach, artificial intelligence methods, multi-objective design, linear programming and iterative technique .
